Ali Fedotowsky , The Bachelor’s contestant, has finally decided to quit the show for her career. The 25-year old is an advertising account manager from Williamstown, MA and was one of the final four contestants of the show. Her decision surfaced during the hometown visit week of the show.
The shock of the show came when Jake Pavelka, this season’s bachelor, and the contestants got together after, visiting their hometowns, for the rose ceremony, which actually is an elimination process, and the host of the show announced that there won’t be any rose ceremony, probably the first time in the history of the show.
The reason the teary-eyed Ali gave on the show for her decision was simply because her seniors at her company had given her an ultimatum to either give up the show or her job. She revealed her situation when she visited Jake in his hotel room and asked his take on it. Jake’s reply was, “Ali, life is about minimizing your regrets. You just have to weigh which one is going to be a bigger regret,” implicitly asking her to make up her own mind to which she replied that she would let him know in the ceremony.
Moments before the ceremony, Ali privately met Jake. She said to him, “There are so many what ifs and maybes. The fact of the matter is there’s still three other girls downstairs. If you were mine that choice would be easy.” And even went on to say, “I love you” but Jake was still unsure to promise her anything to which she replied, “I have to go. … I’m so, so sorry.”
Jake then escorted Ali to the waiting limo outside and after a tender goodbye kiss the limo took off while Ali was still not sure whether she had made the right decision as she was crying in the limo, “I don’t know if I made the right choice” while Jake decided to go on with the show with the rest of the 3 ladies.
Only time will tell who made the right decision last night.
