Well after a day long’s struggle the organizers of the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival have finally unveiled the list of the final lineup for its 2010 edition in Manchester, Tennessee, Yesterday. Bands like Blitzen Trapper are quite excited after making into the lineup and their performance would be the one to watch out for.

Blitzen Trapper is basically a, Portland, Oregon-based, experimental folk-rock band formed in 2000. The band members comprise of lead vocalist and guitarist Eric Earley, Keyboard player and guitarist Erik Menteer, drummist and vocalist Adrian Koch, bassist Michael VanPelt, keyboard player Drew Laughery, and Marty Marquis doing a versatile job on the vocals, keyboard and guitar.

Blitzen Trapper emerged on the music scene with their first album named the same as the band in 2003. In 2004 the band released another album ‘Field Rexx’ but their biggest break came after the release of their 3rd album, in 2007, called ‘Wild Mountain Nation’. The album helped the band soar up on the music charts and also featured on Rolling Stone’s list of the 100 Best Songs of 2007.

The 2008 launch of their album ‘Furr’ was also another landmark for the band. ‘Furr’ was officially released by the ‘Sub Pop Records’ after signing up with the band in the summer of 2007.The album was ranked 13th on Rolling Stone’s Best Albums of 2008 and the songs also featured on a 2-page feature in Rolling Stone. Last year saw another of the experimental band’s album ‘Black River Killer’ released by the ‘Sub Pop Records, which has so far generated positive vibes across the music industry.

At the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival 2010, Blitzen Trapper will be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, Dave Matthews Band and many other legendary musicians. According to the organizers the 13 different stages will be rocked by around 100 musicians and 20 comedians. The tickets have gone on sale as soon as the lineup was announced at the festival’s website
