It has been reported that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has been captured from Karachi in a secret raid by the Pakistani and US intelligence forces. Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is known as one of the most important and Taliban’s top military leader. Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar was arrested from Karachi several days back but it was kept secret intentionally.
The political and war analysts has suggested that Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar was the main operative of the Taliban and he was leading the military Taliban force, now he has been captured and it will largely effect the military activities of Taliban for at least some time. Few analysts also raised their point that Pakistan will likely to face more attacks after Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar arrested.
It has been reported that Pakistan and US intelligence forces are invetgating and interrogating Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar and officially Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is in the custody of Pakistan forces.
The investigation techniques and details has not been released and kept top secret, both the American and Pakistani intelligence forces are keen to learn about locations and information about Mullah Omer from Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar.
According to the information of Interpol Mullah Abdul Ghani Bardar was born in 1968, he was the part of Taliban Government before penetration of American forces in 2001. He remained Deputy Minister of Defense during his tenure in the Government.
